Review on Sunday 24/01/10
Hey Youths,
Sorry for the delay of the update. Here it is.
We had a speaker from FGA Kota Damansara this Sunday, Ch'ng Poh Leong and he talked about "Worship" and there is one thing we should always remember. We worship WITH the Spirit inside us.

Here are some bible verses that he had mentioned during the sharing.
Romans 12:1 - And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice--the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him. [NLT]
John4:19-20 - Sir," the woman said, "you must be a prophet. So tell me, why is it that you Jews insist that Jerusalem is the only place of worship, while we Samaritans claim it is here at Mount Gerizim, where our ancestors worshiped? [NLT]
Amos 5:21 - I hate all your show and pretense--the hypocrisy of your religious festivals and solemn assemblies. I will not accept your burnt offerings and grain offerings. I won't even notice all your choice peace offerings. Away with your noisy hymns of praise! I will not listen to the music of your harps. Instead, I want to see a mighty flood of justice, an endless river of righteous living. [NLT]

Hey Youths!
This is a prayer request by Debbie.
Her 7 year old cousin sister is suspected to have leukemia and have run a test for it. The result will only be out after 3 weeks later. Her cousin is suffering. Let us all keep Debbie, her cousin and the family in our prayer.

This Sunday we'll have Tze Yang to share 5 minutes sharing about "How to decide what to do with your life after form 5" before the small group discussion.
Topic : Staying Linked to Jesus
Well, you can probably guess what we're going to discuss according to the topic. It's about our personal walk with God so bring your bibles and get ready for the discussion with your group members.

Hey Youths,
just a small recap on what we have done on the 10/1/2010.
We were asked to write down our Goals and Struggles for the new 2010 year in 2 colored pieces of paper. Goal on white paper which has to be kept with us in our bibles or where ever that you see best and the Struggle paper which is the pink paper was handed in as prayer request.
Now we know that there might be Struggles that we might be too afraid to write it down on the pink paper and it's OKAY. You don't need to say it out loud but God knows what is troubling you.
If there is ANYTHING that troubles you and you need someone to pray for you, please feel free to send an sms to any of the counselors or leaders. Just a simple, one line sms will do.
