Prayer List 2

Hey guys! Just want to thank God so much because for the first time in WMCK Youth Prayer Meeting history, the boys outnumbered the girls!! That's the way it should be for the coming meetings too. Anyway, here are some more items to be prayed for.

1. Youth Sunday 4/10/09
   Pray that everything will go through smoothly and we'll get the whole church's support.
2. PMR and SPM students
   Everyday is another day closer. Pray that they'll be prepared in time and glorify God.
   
3. Youth Camp 2010
   In Cameron Highlands people! Pray that many youths will join us and that our whole church will support us.
   
4. Christmas Musical All youths will be willing to be involved and make this year's Christmas a blast! Those who decided to join, will be fully committed and dedicated.

Next Sunday, 27/09/09

This coming Sunday, we are canceling the small group discussing so that we prepare for Youth Sunday.

There will be no specific teaching but the counsellors have something for stand by if there is extra time.

But the Youth Sunday takes priority on next Sunday.

Upcoming Events

Hey Youths, just a few updates on what's coming our way.

1. 23 November will be A Day-with-Chris Long and it will be like a one day camp in church. It will be from 8am-10pm, focusing on 'Relationships'. It's on the 1st Monday of school holidays.
2. 13-15 March 2010, Youth Camp will be held in Chefoo Methodist Centre at Cameron Highlands. More details coming soon.
3. Youth Sunday is on the 4th of October. Further details coming up soon.
   
4. Doulos Team is coming to our church for 2 weeks starting from 30 October. For further details about the Doulos Team, click here.

Next Sunday, 20/09/09

Next Sunday, Yvonne is going to share for the 3 - 5 minute sharing.

Then,

Uncle Chew Leong is bringing 2 ex drug addicts to share how their lives changed after God delivered them from their addiction when they called to Him.

Look forward to listening to their testimony.

Practice after Youth Service is CANCELED. No practice.

Sunday School Sunday, 13/09/09

Today is the Sunday School's Sunday and the Sunday School kids had a few performances during the morning service. Here are some pictures:-

What's Happening Next Sunday, 13.9.09?

As usual, we're going to have the small group discussion. So we will start up with small group games and the we will split into our own groups for discussion.

Next Sunday's study title is : Giving It My Best Shot!

Prayer List 1

Alright brothers and sisters in Christ, it's time to get your hands glued together and intercede for all the items below.

1. Youth pastor for WMCK Youth Ministry (we need a Youth pastor)
   
2. People behind the scenes of this blog will keep this blog going and successful
3. Our PMR students (not just SOS youths) to do their best and glorify God
4. Segar (youth counselor) to be around Youth more often
5. H1N1 to cease to exist!

Youth 06/09/09

Here's what happened in Youth on 06/09/09.

Jun Arn came back for a visit. ^^

And our guest speaker for the day is Tripod Executive Director Leon Tan.

Kaymen : Uncle Leon, can I play with your laptop??

Leon briefed us on many stuff. About his job and how they actually run the animation company. He even told us about the steps of preparing an episode of an animation which takes up quite a number of work. To think we used to (or still watching for some) cartoons and thought it was easy to produce animation.

We were like in some sort of class.

Leon showed us a drafted trailer of a project Tripod is working on, Zoorocco. Everyone had to gather around him because we couldn't play his video in the big screen.

Not only those, he talked about various jobs in an animation producing company. For example audio engineering, music composing and more.

Remember people, it's not hard to achieve what you want if you work hard for it. Think of a career, then a degree that can get you there and pray a lot about it.

Hey guys!
We like to know if anyone of you have any prayer requests. We'll definitely pray for you. That's what our prayer meeting is for.
